Amir (b. 1980) is an artist and textile designer. In 2008 she completed her B.Des Degree in Textile Design at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design and in 2015 completed  MFA program at Haifa University.                       

In her works she employs various media – drawing, photography, lighting, motion, sculpture, textile and print – in order to explore the human relationship with the natural world.         

Amir participated in different artist residencies throughout the world, such as the working space at Mamuta – Daniela Passal Art and Media Center, Jerusalem; the Hovinkartano Cultural and Art Centre, Finland and Naris Scuol, Switzerland.  She exhibited in solo and group shows in various venues including Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, The Tate Modern Biennale in London, Ramat Gan Museum, The Artists' House Tel Aviv and more.
